“I absolutely love this boutique! I call Parvin my fairy godmother because she will find the most beautiful exquisite dress that looks perfect on me. The minute I walk in, she will find a dress for me, and when I try it on, I know that that is THE dress! I bought a mother-of-the bride dress for my daughter’s wedding years ago. When I went to Penelope, I was so worn out from trying out wedding dresses that looked frumpy and wrong on me. She worked her magic and found an absolutely stunning gown for me to wear for my daughter’s special day. It happened again just this month. I had to find another mother-of-the bride dress for my youngest daughter’s wedding, and Parvin found an absolutely gorgeous gown for me to wear. I couldn’t be happier! Really! I encourage any woman who wants to look as good as they can for a special occasion or for any day, trips, etc., to go to Penelope Boutique at Santana Row ASAP!”

“She is so helpful and courteous and sweet and she treats everyone like they’re worth a million bucks. I’ve never seen her stare down anyone who walks into her lovely boutique. And the quality of the clothes she sells puts Nordstrom to shame. She personally flies to France and Italy to hand pick the clothes she sells. I never go in there without planning on spending at least $300. And her sale items are not very desirable. But beyond those two things, it’s a delight shopping there and I consider Parvin a friend. I trust her judgement too. I doubt she’d tell me something looks good on me just to make a sale. She’s honest and she wants her customers to return. She’s got a loyal following, and you don’t build that kind of business mistreating people.”

The owner is knowledgeable about latest trends and has up-to-day selection, but what I like most is the expert advise I get on how to wear what I got, how to turn a dress into an outfit. She’s even happy to advice on clothes I bought somewhere else. I’m a dancer. I wear Penelope’s dresses for performances and in clubs and they always get attention they richly deserve. Great selection, professional advice, expert alterations – my favorite boutique.”

I originally tried on a stunning Sherri hill gown but I needed the next size up, so I went to Penelope’s and asked if they had the dress, they didn’t but she said she could order it in my size which was a dream come true, she even let me try on other dresses while I was waiting for her to call and order my dress. The store is clean and very cute and I adore that it’s a boutique and I’m supporting small local businesses.”

I was looking for a dress for a Black Tie event and Bo helped me find the most beautiful dress. I came here to get my prom dress and the owner was extremely attentive in helping me find exactly what I was looking for! Also, since it’s prom season many boutiques aren’t able to receive the dress you want to order for about a month, Penelope’s was able to get my dress in a little over a week! On top of it the alterations they did were top notch, and made the dress the perfect fit for my body without any evidence the dress was altered at all, left behind!
